For all those who do not speak swedish, this is information for a swedish comic competition ;D

Hi everyone! How are you all doin'?

Anyway so I've just about come back from the strange land of the Finnish. A land where you cook in saunas and spank each other with big leafy things, and where they apparently find a need to put up "no alcohol" signs in the trains and have "sips" instead of chips.

They had a convention in Helsinki, where one of the guests of honor was no one else than Mr. George RR Martin, the author of the amazing  "a song of ice and fire" book series. If you haven't read them, I recommend them dearly.

A couple of friends and I dressed up as some of the characters from the books. I was Arya Stark of Winterfelt.  All of us managed to pick characters who were supposedly not dead yet and so in the masquerade we participated in we won the "we are not dead yet" award. Mr. Martin and his wife Paris, were really nice and we got the chance to talk to both of them. I admit that I was a little star struck at first, but it eased up as the convention went. Before leaving us Paris told me that I looked a lot like she imagined Arya. I can't say how happy that made me. I've been all happy about it since.

Mr. Martin was not the only guest of honor though. Mr. Alistair Reynolds renowned sci-fi author was there as well as Mr. Adam Roberts who proved to be not only a skilled author, but also witty as hell. I had my books signed by both of them and got a chance to chat to both of them which was very fun. Adam Roberts signed the supposed "talking out of the arse"- book he has written, better known as "the land of the headless".

Aside from the authors and the dressing up we sold our fanzines in the artist alley and I think it all went rather well, so we were happy. Finncon was all in all a success and fun. I talked to a lot of people who proved interesting, goofy and all around cheerful. I can't think of any real boring moments. Well there were some, but without a little boredom you can't know when it's amazingly fun, can ya?

Hi everyone! How are all of you doing?

I haven't written a journal in AGES, but then again I have never been good at keeping 'em. I tried several times as a kid but failed XD.

So time for an update!

My life's alright… Update done! Mission accomplished!

Well to be honest, the main reason as to why I'm writing is due to a movie I saw yesterday with my dad. Oh god it was so bad! And it actually crossed the "just crap"-line and went over to "this movie is so bad it's hilarious!"-line. Seriously, my expression through the entire thing was "W…T…F…!!!". The actors weren't bad, mind you, they were all good actors with well known names, but when the best scene of the movie involves Keanu and John Cleese scribbling on a board… well it can't be a great movie, now can it? I am of course speaking of "the day when the earth stood still". I hadn't read any reviews or seen any ads about it when my dad and I decided to go see it. We mainly just wanted to watch a movie.

The rest of this contains spoilers, but really I don't think it matters….

So the movie begins with Keanu freezing his butt off on a mountain, while sporting a ridiculous beard. He is like David Duchovny… they… do… NOT…look…good…in beards!!! Anyway so I was pretty much sitting there wishing for some kind god to forcibly shave of that hairy monster sitting on Keanu's mouth. During which time he was attacked by a glowing alien orb thingy. Very exciting.

We are then transported back to modern time. For the first time meeting Helen, being all good and academic. She is not only smart, she is super hot! What a shocker! Helen has a kid, who's not really her kid, but her late husband's. That kid is the most annoying brat on the planet! He keeps whining about how alone he is all the time and basically everything that works against the protagonists is his fault, unless it's the military bombing them…

Suddenly all these Secret service people come and practically kidnap Helen, because she is needed for something so top secret no one seems to know what it is. She arrives at the compound where she meets her friend, Michael. Michael has three minor purposes in this movie, which makes him very fascinating in my eyes. 1. He knows Helen for some reason we're never allowed to know, but apparently they are buddy buddy. Thus, Helen receives the special treatment. 2. He explains the first alarming truth that evidently turns out to be wrong anyway. 3. He is their kamikaze driver at the end, dying without anyone caring. Like an anonymous character, only with a name. Otherwise he shows up now and then with a surprised expression on his face.

Anyway, Helen meets a bunch of other scientists and engineers, who don't know why they are there either, and big shocker, she is the ONLY woman there. All of the engineers are then briefed on a catastrophe heading their way. Apparently there is an asteroid that's going to crash down on Manhattan. At which point everyone goes "Aww… bummer…". Michael responds with a "no worries it's gonna hit in one hour, we are all going to die…". Helen who's managed to sneak inside a mobile phone sits in a toilet to tell her kid that she loves him, she doesn't tell him to run though. A great asteroid's gonna smash your kid "ah no worries, love you". Great parenting!

But it turns out they were wrong anyway and the asteroid, which evidently wasn't an asteroid but another alien orb thingy, only really big, lands in central park. How does the military respond? They shoot the alien coming out of it. "Holey moley, it's something we don't know! Let's shoot it!" everyone goes "horray!", but then they realize that maybe they should save the alien. Well, the alien survives and turns into a human that looks like Keanu. All the while the Scientists are sporting big words that are supposed to make them seem smart, but that even I understand and can put into context and isn't all that smart anyway. The one that hit me the most was when Michael explains that the asteroid which is going to crash into the earth does not follow an elliptical path, no it's hyperbolical! Yay, you know the nicer names of different shapes and curves, kudos to you…

Klaatu, as is the alien's name wants to destroy the earth. But no one gets it, they all think he's there to save them. Even after telling everyone that the earth isn't their planet and pretty much right after says that he is a friend of the earth. Seriously. But Helen doesn't want to understand this and takes Klaatus' "I am a friend of the earth" as a "I'm going to save all humans!" So in her eyes he must be… I know! JESUS!

Helen's only task in this movie is to drive him around and look shocked, while the kid is in the backseat telling her to kill Klaatu, because that's what his dad would have done. Great, dad kid, really, awesome dad.

We are throughout the movie shown the images of hundreds of orb thingies scattered around the world, harboring animal speciments. So basically the aliens are making a sort of arc. "oh look the aliens are taking orbs with animal speciments! what are they doing?" "beats me..." no one gets it, honestly... A looooong while later in the movie the hag in charge, who's biggest reason for being in the movie is to state the blatantly obvious that no one else seems to understand, says "It's an arc!" and everyone looks ridiculously shocked.
"what follows?" someone then asks and she looks all ominous and replies"the flood!". Only the flood isn't a flood, it's a huge robot turning into millions of tiny insects eating stuff. The military tries to bomb it, which of course doesn't work and it only makes it bigger. So what do they do?. They keep bombing it more. "If a little violence doesn't work, then perhaps more violence will!" Great! Wonderful plan guys! I can see why they put you in charge.However, The hag in charge tries to tell the president that perhaps it would be better to just talk to the alien, but apparently mr. president doesn't like that and wants the military to keep bombing. Anyway, so we have Klaatu, ordering the aliens to eat the planet with tiny insects, Helen, trying to tell him that the humans can change over and over, never explaining how they would change and the kid wanting to kill Klaatu. But Cleese, a nobel price genius, explains to Helen that she can't convince Klaatu with reason. She has to use herself. Basically, he wants her to be a whore for the human race. Such a nice old man…

So Helen has a whiny conversation with Klaatu that goes something like this:
"Please don't kill us mr. alien!"
"you are destroying the earth."
"we can change!"
"no."
"we can change!" *tears in eyes*
"no."
"we can change!" *holding crying kid*
"I see that there is another side to you, fair enough."

So the movie ends with Klaatu taking away all electricity, water and anything modern the humans have accomplished and then leaving them back in the stone ages. Great, aint it?

I think the producers went to the screenwriters and said something in the lines of: "so screenwriters, can you write some crap so that we can spend a ridiculous amount of money and use very good actors to produce such a crappy movie people will have to see it?"

The movie uses the moral of a thousand movies before it to save the earth. And even though it tries to let a good message come across, if you overlook the overall moral of the film, it fails due to badly picked scenes and bad screenwriting.

However, I do recommend it for the laugh, but for Pete's sake, don't pay for it! Download the crap, watch it, laugh and throw it away.

Hello!

I'm writing a journal! OMG! What happened?!

Anyway, I thought I needed an update, right?

I have now graduated, wooo? It feels good, but now I'm officially unemployed… Yayz! I am now a parasite on the society we live in, a very nice feeling, indeed.

I'm going straight to university, though. I do wonder how that'll be… it'll be maths… a lot of maths…  I'm such an idiot. Can someone please explain why I chose to continue with engineering?!

Well the upside is that I at least I'm gonna get the chance to mutate stuff ^^. Mad scientist club, here I come! I'll take over the world with a horde of mutated muffins, designed to kill you in horrible ways .

Now for something completely different… I'M GONNA SEE COLDPLAY LIVE IN SEPTEMBER!!! I am so incredibly psyched!  I can't wait! My cousin and uncle gave two tickets to me as a graduation gift. I love you guys!!!

Yes, I'm being totally fangirly and annoying over this, but I'm just so happy!

Hi everyone!

It's been a long time since I last updated... I'm lazy I know.

So what is new?

Well I'm graduating in about 3 months and time is going so fast! I'm having mixed feelings about graduation. Of course 12 years of school has come to an end, then again I am probably going to continuing my studies right away. So much for a break. In many ways I'm a bit afraid of having a break from school, since it is all I have ever known. Think about it, I've been going to school for 12 years and I'm turning 18 in April. In short I've been going to school for much more than half of my life and changes are scary. Everyone is moving on to their different lives in different places and I'm doing so as well.

It's frightening, yet exciting... much like waiting to see which hair color Kajsa () will have the next time I see her XD. (love you <3)

And as I've mentioned I'm turning 18... 18... 18... Dammit! I'm getting old! I feel like I'm 5! >.<

Ah well...

As far as projects go I'm working on two doujinshis at the moment, one cosplay, one BIG school project (that's killing me) and I guess graduation is a project in itself, right?

So now I have had my dose of complaining moving on to something more fun.

Kidding XD

I'm currently fleeing reality by reading mangas and I've finished a couple ^^.

The most recent one is "Emma", right after finishing it I went straight out and bought the books. It's so cute! ^///^ I just love it!

I've read as far as I could on skip beat as well... I'm in a shoujo period... don't ask me why...

Okay so the manga part is done... ^^

I've fallen in love with the movie Sweeney Todd, it was basically love on first sight.
I just love all the detail that they put in to it and how well thought out it was. And of course Johnny Depp was as sexy as always . The ending is my favorite part in the movie... mmm.... *gets lost in memories of it*

I'd like to taste mrs. Lovetts meat pies XD (random? I think not)

Oh and another thing, I've fallen in love with a commercial. I suspect that it basically is because of the use of Depeche mode's song "enjoy the silence". But I love how they filmed it! It is very unusual for me to like a commercial...  believe me, my opinion of commercials in general is "Please, please make them go away! or I swear to god I'll kill the next person I come across" so it's big thing... (okay I'm not that bad with commercials, but you get the picture, right?)

I'm sitting in school right now and I'm bloody furious!
Yesterday I just had one lesson and it was at 11 in the morning, ans I missed the bus... yeah I mixed up the timetable, I'm really absent-minded at the moment >.<.
There wasn't really any reason to take the next bus, 'cause it wouldn't come before an hour... annyoing, so I called in sick.

Anyway so here I am in school today and there is no lesson! Oh it seems like the class decided to have "free studies" yesterday, and my "friends" didn't let me know about it! I'm so angry right know, someone had better taken some papers for me from the lesson, or I swear to god I'll snap!

Ah well I think I'll go on wallowing in self pity and anger for a while longer, until then, ta!

Hello everyone! Long time no see... kinda...

Since cosplaying has become one of my new passions, it's so fun! I thought well what the heck I might as well talk about the cosplays I've done so far and cosplays I've been planning to do.

My first Cosplay was Shiezka from FMA, somehow I can relate to her a lot XD. I won't show you any pictures of that since I look like a blue "falukorv"... (falukorv is a kind of Swedish sausage that is very red and thick >.<).

My second cosplay was Kiba from Naruto... I was forced into it >.<. My personality is more like Hinata, but she was already taken T.T...
I'm gonna post pictures after I've finished writing this ^^.

My third cosplay and latest one was Honey-sempai from Ouran high school host club. We had an Ouran café and everything it was the best cosplay I've done so far. It's almost scary how easy it was for me to get into character... >.<. I was the host for eight fangirls and I charmed them all! Yeah being honey rocks! I was the center of attention all the time and everyone went like "awww" or "Kawaii" whenever I said something, it really was one of the most fun things I've ever done!
I'm gonna post a group photo ^^, there are recordings on youtube as well... I look fat T.T aaaanywayyy, the sketches are in Swedish but the last end thing is mainly dancing so... You can find it here [link] obviously I'm honey (a honey who has eaten too many cookies XD).
Renge-chan cut together the music and Kaoru-kun and I made most of the jackets >.<.

The next convention I'm going as honey again, but after that I'm gonna be Edward Elric from full metal alchemist... cause I'm really short... you can see that quite clearly in the video XD. I'm even going to make his arm .

Then after that I'm going to be Sasori (puppet guy) from Naruto... (I was talked into this one as well.... >.<)
The one I've planned to be after that is another one I've been talked into... I'm going to be sailor Saturn, once again because of my height >.<

As some of you might have noticed (or not) I've been a bit inactive. The cause to this VERY odd behavior was a little trip to vienna. I came back yesterday.

My father and I went togeather and I actually had a lot of fun (believe it or not, you can actually have fun with your parents XD).
We went around Vienna and saw Shönnbrunn and Belvedere, two very beautiful castles. Those decorations and details... I've never seen anything like it.

We saw gothic churches aswell and a sort of creepy cemetary that was under one of them. There were corridors with rooms that were filled with bones stacked in piles or just throuwn together. They also had the royal family buried there. I think it's the first time I've ever seen human bones for real like that, well I have seen mummies and stuff at museums, but not like this. It was an odd feeling, it's hard to discribe. Some of the corridoors were just round stone tunnels and others had proper white walls. I could almost see my own characters from my comic run around there and I got some inspiration. So I might actually start drawing it again.

In the same church they had a high tower, where we went up. My dad keeps telling me that he warned me, but I can't remember it, anyway when we arrived at the top and went out of the elevator i found myself on a metal platform. You know, the ones you find at construction sites, so we weren't actually on any ground. My knees became weak >.< I knew I had a somewhat developed fear of hights, but this was ridiculous!
I was pressed to the wall the whole time, even when we were standing on a stone landing. We went down again pretty quickly and next to me in the elevator a japanease guy exclaimed "thank god" in japanease. My dad was so impressed that I understood it .

We visited the national art museum, which was huge! The building itself was a work of art. Everything was so detailed and wonderfully crafted. The national natural history museum was amasing aswell. It took as about 3 hours to go through each of the museums, and then we didn't linger at one spot for very long. I've never been to museums like that. I feel kind of cultured now XD.

Vienna itself is a very beautiful city and I strongly recommend you to visit it.
Bratislava the capital of slovakia is situated only one hour away, so you can go there aswell if you want to. My dad and I went there one day... I didn't like it >.<. It was scary and noone speaks english and everything is in their language, which I don't understand at all. German is different, since I am swedish our languages are somewhat similar, ao you can actually make out almost half of it.
The main reason that we went there was because of my little sister who is in the swedish national basketball team for fifteen-year-olds. She was playing a practice match agains slovakia. My little sister's tem won! I'm so proud of her, she is such an athleate. For those who are interested, she plays at the position of pointguard and she is really good to, although she is a bit short (she is taller than me T.T).

Last but not least the swedish u19 national basketball team made it to the world finals!!! I'm rooting for them! they are up against hard competition as we speak. They are playing against USA and are under by 20 points. Whatever happens I think they are pretty awesome for making it this far, so lets all cheer for them!

so I'm back from France, and in one piece .
It was a really nice trip, but I seemed to run into an unfortunate streak of bad luck. I guess shit happens and you should just deal with it, but it was kind of annoying. I was sick one day, with a rather high fever, it went away the next day though, fortunately.
I fell down the stairs and hurt my elbow and my butt ( I've got a bluemark the size of an apple there now and it's not blue, it's black!). I also got bitten by super mosquitoes and the bites would swell and become kind of ichy and disgusting. Last but not least painful, I accedentally fell asleep in the sun and burnt my self ( a lot) , Can anyone be as clumsy as me?

That aside, it really was a nice vacation, really it was. I just like to complain about shit XD, it did feel a bit annoying always having something every second day. We went to restaurants, went shopping, went to the beach and were just pure lazy. My sunburn is turning into a tan, hurray (I guess). At least it doesn't hurt anymore

As you can see the very day I came back I'm uploading stuff again ^^ so I'm back with new energy and will do my best to make awesome pictures (as awesome as I can at least)

These two last days have been really wierd... I mean I just started my vacation and what do I do? I start to work on my comics like crazy...
Yesterday I finished 6 pages plus the cover page for my own manga "agnus dei", then I put the pages up on an onlinecomic site. So you can now read Agnus dei on the internetz, in a really nice, neat and spiffy way (I'm sorry...just so tired...).

Today I finished ten pages... and that wasn't just screentoning.... it was tracing and inking aswell. TEN GOD DAMN PAGES!, my dreams are going to be screentoned >.<. On the upside, I'm almost done with my FMA doujinshi! yay!

As some of you have noticed, I've started to draw my very own manga! yay ! two pages are completely done so far, the third is on it's way.

Vincent Mayer: main character.... cute... what more can I say XD

Leonard Godwin: Vince's bodyguard... he rarely loses his composure... people find him cold <.< ( I do aswell XD)

Caleb Katona: Vince's other bodyguard... loves to annoy leo, pretty laid back and happy-go-lucky... he has got a couple of skelletons in his closet >.<

William Clark: takes care of the orphanage, kind and funny... loves roses waaaay to much <.<

Gennaro Vescovi: the bishop, the boss... well he is the boss what more can I say (well he hates Caleb >.< )

Marcus LeClair: works in the information department for demonic activity... he is slightly psychic and does readings with his tarot cards (in private that, is since the vatican doesn't like it) He wants to be able to sleep at work, but if he did leo and gennaro would kick his ass so hard he wouldn't be able to sit for a week XD

there are some more characters but they aren't entierly finished, but they include a battlenun, a pretty cool woman with an eyepatch and two other women (probably nuns)

I've finished playing the second FMA game, I really liked it. It was kinda short though, took about 7 hours to finish <.< I wanted more...

Anyway I thought this game was way better than the first, it had a lot of improvments and more humor ^^.
I loved the part where Hughes and Roy were teasing Ed XD

Ed: Colonel, I got this ring do you know what it means?
Roy: I cannot accept such a gift from a man *really silly expression*
Ed: Araaaaagh!! It's not for you, you moron!!

there is a lot more, but it's too much >.<;; so I'll leave it at that. Play the game instead XD

Anyway FMA rocks! yeah!

I've been in quite a bad mood today. It's a combination too little sleep, stress and not feeling too well .

Anyway, when I got home today I had a headache, so I decided to go out for a walk to clear my head.
I went out to the beach and I was stunned. The sunset, it was beautiful. Perfect colors of orange and blue shimmering in the water, a warm orange color in the sky, pink clouds. As I walked I felt more peaceful than I have in a long time.
All my "problems" suddenly felt so small. Why should you be sad or stressed when the world can be this beautiful?
We don't appreciate the small things anymore, at least I haven't. A sunset can do so much, a walk can make everything feel better all you have to do is go out of the door.

I've been doing this doujinshi of full metal alchemist for a while now...
GAH! now I understand why comic artists can feel so stressed out. I don't know how many hours I've put into that project ( a lot), but it still isn't finished >.<;;. I've finished 7 out of 35... 35!!! and all I'm going to sell it for is like 25kr (ca 3 dollars) (if anyone wants to buy it that is). On top of the doujinshi I have Mangatalangen, but I've given up by now (jag skiter rent utsagt i det >.<; )...

And this morning... the world hates me! God definitely hates me!
My clock doesn't ring so when my mom wakes me up it was 7 o'clock... 30 minutes to get ready >.<... so I eat breakfast in a hurry (which wasn't very fast since I have a cold....gah my throat!).
I get dressed, get out of the house... and yes! the buss drives past me just as I go out of the door>.<!
So I go in again to wait for the next bus and decide to fix my hair, since I didn't have time before and it becomes a disaster and "oh look, I have to leave...I even have to run"
I decide to ignore the hair and run out to get to the bus, on the way I step into some kind of hole and hurt my foot, pain!
I jump on one leg to the bus and get on, while getting odd looks from the bus driver, since I'm panting quite heavily ( I need to work out more).
Of course EVERYONE takes this bus, so it's like sitting in a shoe box (but at least I'm sitting <_<; ) and then the bus pretty much gets stuck by the roundabout just infront of my school. It stayes there for like 10 minutes >.< I was almost late because of that and I definitely did not have time to get to my locker... annoying.
My friends keep on teasing me for missing the bus the rest of the day. Me and my big mouth, the day before I commented on that I've never missed the bus... I usually run to the bus in the morning, something they find very funny...
I should've stayed home today TT.TT
GAHHHHHHH! ARGHHHH!

Wohoo I'm getting a tablet as a christmas and birthday gift, from my grand-father *happy happy*. I just had to tell someone somewhere. I can't wait ^^.
